Public Safety Day has been cancelled, Fire Station Tours are still going to be held.

Unfortunately, the poor weather conditions require us to cancel Public Safety Day for tomorrow. Fire Stations will still be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. if you would like to come by for a tour.

Common Abbreviations

Here is a list of some common abbreviations that may pop up on this site from time to time:

E1 - Engine 1, located at Station 1

E2 - Engine 2, located at Station 2

E3 - Engine 3, located at Station 3

E4 - Engine 4, located at Station 4

E5 - Engine 5, a reserve engine

E6 - Engine 6, a reserve engine

E11 - The mini pumper, located at Station 2

R1 - Rescue 1, located at Station 2

L1 - Ladder 1, located at Station 1

C3 - Car 3, The Shift Commander or his Vehicle, located at Station 1

ALS - Advanced Life Support

BLS - Basic Life Support

EMS - The Ambulance or it's Crew

MVA - Motor Vehicle Accident

PD - Police Department or a Police Officer

PT - The Patient on a medical call

TIC - Thermal Imaging Camera
