Saturday, August 30 at approximately 3:39 am:

E1 was dispatched on a medical for a report of a patient possibly having a heart attack.  BFR personnel and EMS arrived on scene simultaneously to find one patient unresponsive inside their home.  CPR was immediately initiated by firefighters while EMS personnel assessed the patient’s cardiac activity and secured the patient’s airway.  Cardiac medications were administered via IO while E1 crew members continued CPR.  The patient quickly regained a strong pulse and blood pressure and was moved to the ambulance for transport.  EMS transported the patient emergency traffic to a local hospital with one firefighter aboard to assist with care.
