Friday, July 18 at approximately 3:34 pm:

E4 and R1 were dispatched on a report of a personal injury accident. Upon arrival crew members found two vehicles that had been involved in an offset frontal collision with one vehicle still in the roadway and another in the tree line. EMS arrived on scene with E4 and assumed patient care. Two people were transported non-emergency to an area hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. Once all PT care had been provided, E4 remained on scene to assist with traffic control and opening the roadway back up.

Monday, July 21 at approximately 9:15 am:

E3, R1 and C2 were dispatched on a report of a possible gas leak.  Initial dispatch information indicated that a natural gas line had ruptured outside of a home.  Upon arriving on scene BFR personnel made contact with a construction crew who indicated that they struck the gas line while working.  The gas supply was turned off at the meter for the home, which stopped the leak.  E3 requested that the gas company respond to the scene.  With no further hazards all BFR units returned to service.

Tuesday, July 22 at approximately 10:52 am:

E3 was dispatched on a medical call for a report of an unconscious patient.  Fire and EMS crews arrived on scene together and found an unresponsive patient in cardiac arrest.  CPR was immediately initiated and an advanced airway was put in place.  BFR personnel assisted EMS with intra osseous access and cardiac drug administration.  The patient was secured to a backboard and moved to the ambulance for further on scene care.  EMS and BFR personnel continued to provide advanced life support while on scene until transport was initiated.  EMS transported the patient emergency traffic to a local hospital with one firefighter aboard to assist with care.
